I am a patient, critically competent editor and writing coach. My experience in professional and creative writing is extensive and I am eager to help anyone with a desire to improve their writing. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have been intentional with applying and improving my writing skills and am ready to impart what I have learned. You will find me to be a focused, professional tutor with a deep passion for writing and literature. Not only am I able to provide tips for writing, but I am passionate about the deeper levels of composition theory and literature. I treat every tutoring session and feedback opportunity as a time for mutual development and guided coaching toward higher, clearer levels of communication.

My lessons are in-depth composition and literature sessions. I am able to provide valuable feedback on college level essays, papers, white papers and other compositions. I have a deep knowledge of poetics, literary theory, and modernist literature. My focus during my undergraduate and post-graduate work was Modernist American literature and creative writing.
In addition to my academic career, I have had a seven year career as manager in a paralegal writing environment where I have had the responsibility of consistently reviewing, editing and providing feedback on professional written material. Some of this written material became published as California regulatory text and was subject to the highest levels of legal and compositional critical review.

-Primarily provide feedback via online written review

-I am a compassionate and focused teacher and provide detailed notes in my feedback, not mere editing
