About Jack
I am a recent first class civil engineering masters student from the University of Bristol, who has experience in tutoring both mathematics and sciences to fellow students and to those much younger than myself. I have experience working with KS1 and KS2 through my time as a cub scout leader, and I have experience in tutoring at a higher level throughout my academic career. I have A* grades in A-level Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as well as an A in A-level Further Mathematics, and so I am capable of teaching a wide range of mathematics and sciences.

My teaching method is based learning through examples predominantly using both worked examples from myself and also guidance of the student through set questions. This style is effective as it reflects the definitive nature of mathematics and sciences, and is geared towards the methods in which schools teach and assess knowledge in these fields. I am very well versed in the application of knowledge in the educational setting and I can give competent advice to students for exam preparation as well as day to day school work.
