About Sahar
I achieved my BSc (Hons) in Psychology with a 2:1 back in 2013, and have achieved an MSc in Speech Difficulties from the University of Sheffield. I am currently training in Sheffield to become a speech and language therapist, which will complete in 2018.
I have been tutoring for more than 4 years now. My previous role was within Addenbrooke's Hospital teaching both one to one and in groups. I worked with various students from ages 11 to 20 with GCSE subjects and some A Level too. I have had many years experience in tailoring subjects to suit students' requirements, and helped these students in taking examinations, with coursework and preparation for University and/or College. These students have gone on to achieve great grades and be successful in getting into their desired university choices. Furthermore, I have worked as a TEFL teacher for over a year working online with numerous students and supporting with intermediate level English. These students ranged from teenagers to young adults.

I am available to teach from primary/secondary ages up until Masters level in Psychology and related subjects; also including English and Sociology. My main techniques and methods of teaching will include structured lessons, with the first lesson involving a detailed account of your goals, motivations and lesson requirements. I use worksheets, homework to check understanding and writing abilities, up to date research, analysing and evaluation techniques.
As a teacher, I like to keep teaching fun and relevant for my students! Part of my role is to also help with writing personal statements, dissertations and longer projects/lab reports etc.
