• 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

  I developed my interest in math during school when I realized math is about logic, patterns, and problem solving. I became interested in tutoring when I saw how much students improve when concepts are explained clearly and patiently.

  I teach math, including algebra, functions, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and SAT Math. I enjoy helping students understand difficult topics in a simple way and build strong problem solving skills.

• 3) Did you have any role models or a teacher that inspired you?

  Yes, I was inspired by teachers who were patient, clear, and supportive. They made difficult topics feel easier, and I try to use that same approach with my own students.

• 4) What qualities are required to be a good tutor?

  A good tutor needs patience, clear communication, strong knowledge, and the ability to adjust to each student. A good tutor should also help students feel confident and comfortable asking questions.

• 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or school.

  One thing I learned from tutoring is that many students are not bad at math. They just need the right explanation. I have seen students go from feeling scared of math to feeling confident after practicing step by step.

  Some advanced math topics were challenging for me at first because they felt abstract. That experience helps me understand students better and explain concepts in a simple and patient way.

  My passion is helping students build confidence in math. I enjoy seeing students understand something that once felt difficult and realize they are capable of improving.
