About Robert
I started giving private lessons more than 30 years ago and have certainly helped several hundred students, some only for a few hours, others for many more. I have also taught maths and finance in schools, both public and private.
I have obviously had some failures (those who claim they have never had any are liars!), but also some great successes, and I have worked with some of them for several years, to their great satisfaction!

I studied management at the ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles) at master's level, which is very rich in courses in mathematics, statistics and probabilities, and finance, and I have been giving courses in these subjects for a number of years now, with great enthusiasm!
During my first contact with the student, I first inquire about the student's precise request, to make sure that I am able to help him/her.
If the outcome of this is positive and we work together, I customise the course as much as possible to suit the student's needs (review the theory with some, redo exercises with others, always ask questions to check if the explanation has been understood, etc.).
If necessary, I can provide exercises to be done after the course, always accompanied by the solutions, complete or with only the final answers.
If I have to give the whole course, I make sure that the part of theory and the part of examples and exercises are "balanced". I am convinced that a good "balance" between these two elements contributes to the success of the student.
