About Stefan
My name is Stefan, I'm a college student studying Aeronautical Science and have a strong track record in math. I tutor from middle school up until Algebra 2, and I'm passionate about helping students actually understand the material instead of just memorizing steps to pass a test.
I know firsthand how frustrating math can feel when a concept just doesn't click, and how much of a difference it makes to have someone patient walk you through it in a way that actually makes sense. I've tutored in the past, and I've seen how much students improve, not just in their grades, but in their confidence, once the gaps in their understanding are properly filled in.
I take a structured but flexible approach: I meet each student where they are in their course, focus on the specific areas they're struggling with, and make sure they can solve problems independently before moving on. Whether you're catching up after falling behind or want to get ahead before the next unit, I'm here to help.
I'm reliable, prepared for every session, and committed to helping students build both the skills and the confidence to succeed in math long-term.

Each session usually starts with a few minutes reviewing what's tripping the student up that week, homework, a recent test, or a concept they mentioned struggling with. From there, I break the concept down step by step, using multiple examples until it clicks, then have the student work through problems on their own while I'm there to catch mistakes. I always end with a couple of problems they can do independently, so we both know it actually stuck before the session ends.
