About TIM
I am Tim Nguyen. I graduated in Electrical Engineering major. I am currently finishing Master of curriculum and instruction in Math for K-12 at North American University, so I have strong math background and teaching skills. In addition, I have tutored math for middle and high school students in Houston area for a long time. I tutored variety of students from fail students to good students. Therefore, I succeed in helping either fail students to pass a math class or good students to maintain A score in their math class. In last three years, 100% of my students pass STAAR test and improve their math average score in a short time. A lot of good students achieve a high score in SAT test. Many students achieve a high score in SAT Math at first time and get 99 percentiles in a second time.

I can tutor one on one or a small group. Before I tutor, I usually make individual lessons plan either one on one or in group. It makes a tutoring session more efficiency. Students will be more engaged. During I am tutoring, I am contacting students’ teacher to monitor their academic and try to learn their experiences. Therefore, I collect a lot of teaching experiences from variety teachers and tutoring students. Some educational professors appreciate my experiences. After I tutor, I prefer to get feed back from students or their parents, so I can improve myself to adapt varieties of students’ need. Students’ success is big reward to me.
