About Alvin

I've been tutoring personally for about 3 years.
1] Math sessions with government school students of grades 7th and 8th.
2] Tutored friends and classmates for engineering related subjects in college.
3] As for the grades, I've been successful but I would want my students to judge for themselves.

About the lesson

I'm an Industrial Engineer(IE), wrestling with numbers and optimizing systems comes naturally to me.
I've had abundant experience with tutoring my engineering cohort. If you're concerned about credentials, I was awarded "First Rank" for academic proficiency during IE.

My teaching style is personalized. Everybody learns a different way.:
We will spend the first session understanding what the student needs and how we can work together to reach the goal. If I'm capable of meeting the student's expectation, we can proceed with this interesting learning experience.

Methodology of instruction will be iterative learning with periodic graded assignments testing the students ability to grasp and apply taught concepts.

Alvin always takes education seriously. Ever since I have known him, he has been passionate about learning and passing on his knowledge. Over the past four years, he has taught me various skills and solved multiple problems that came up in my educational life. He is the best teacher I've had till date. He keeps classes fresh with interesting tid bits and makes sure you understand the concept. He doesn't believe in rote learning so rest assured that whatever you learn from him will stay with you for an extended period of time, if not forever. Alvin loves science, especially Physics and Math and his passion translates into his teaching. He is the most knowledgeable person I know and the fact that he heavily relies on teaching aids like YouTube are the cherries on top of a scrumptious cake.
In conclusion, I believe that you should definitely give Alvin an opportunity to teach you. He will surely blow your mind.
