About Gavin
My interest in Mathematics comes from a passion for patterns, logic, and analytical thinking. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and later completed a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics. During the last 9 years, I have helped students improve their understanding through structured and supportive teaching.
I believe that every learner can succeed with the right guidance and consistent effort. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and adapting lessons to suit individual strengths and challenges. Creating a positive learning experience is always a priority.
Outside education, I enjoy exploring mathematical applications in technology, science, and economics. These interests help me show students the practical value of Mathematics. Watching learners develop confidence and achieve their goals is one of the most satisfying parts of my profession.

My Mathematics lessons are designed to help students build strong understanding and confidence across a variety of topics. We cover algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics through clear explanations and step-by-step examples. I focus on helping learners understand concepts deeply before applying them to problems.
Lessons include guided practice, problem-solving activities, and personalised support based on each student's needs. Students develop stronger reasoning skills while improving accuracy and efficiency. Regular feedback helps learners identify areas for growth and maintain steady progress.
I aim to create an encouraging environment where students feel motivated to learn and improve. As confidence increases, learners become more independent and capable problem-solvers. My goal is to help students achieve success while developing a positive relationship with Mathematics.
