About Kristina
I have always been someone who enjoys working with children and creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Through my experience in schools and tutoring settings, I have learned how important patience, encouragement, and adaptability are when helping students succeed. As a substitute paraprofessional and former ELA/Math tutor, I have worked one-on-one and in small groups to help students strengthen their academic skills and build confidence. I enjoy building connections with students, supporting their growth, and helping them become more confident and independent learners both inside and outside of the classroom.

As a Mathematics Education major at Hofstra University, I enjoy helping students build confidence in math and develop stronger problem-solving skills. I always try to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment. My goal is to make math feel less stressful and more understandable by explaining concepts step by step and adapting lessons to each student’s learning style.
