About Ben

I graduated from Wellington College recently and am now undertaking a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Mathematics. I am passionate about helping students achieve their potential in Mathematics and Physics. Over the years, I've achieved an A+ in MATH199 (University of Canterbury course) and excelled in various math-related competitions. My goal is to provide students with the necessary tools, strategies, and encouragement to achieve Excellence, sharing my knowledge to help them achieve their desired grades. As a reliable, dedicated, and approachable tutor, I hope to create a positive engaging learning environment.

About the lesson

I have over two years of experience as a Mathematics peer tutor at Wellington College. I offer tutoring in Mathematics and Physics for NCEA Levels 1-3 and Scholarship Mathematics, with lessons focused on building strong conceptual understanding, confidence, and problem-solving skills. I guide students from mastering fundamentals before advancing to practice challenging exam-style problems using clear explanations, worked examples, and practice questions.
