About Judah
I'm really passionate about Maths and the sciences! I'm fascinated by the world and the laws that govern it, and always interested in learning new things! I'm keen to help people younger than me grow in their understanding of the subjects that they are studying, and also hoping I can pass my enthusiasm on.
I am also fully DBS checked, and have experience working with students with special educational needs.

I have over 500 hours of tutoring experience on MyTutor.co.uk with nearly one hundred 5* reviews.
Usually for the first session we do a diagnostic test, to see which areas to focus on in following sessions! Then, I go through content relevant to the specification of the exam board you are working with, coupled with questions and examples to reinforce the content learned. I believe retention improves when knowledge is acted on and used, so it's a key part of my lessons to put knowledge into practice. I try to create an open line of communication between myself and my students, encouraging them to take responsibility of their own learning and trying to engage them, whilst I am also there to guide them and prompt them should they require it. Judah has been working with my son on KS3 Maths for some time now and he has really helped his confidence a lot. My son looks forward to the lessons and is always invigorated afterwards and keen to tell me what he has learned. He enjoys Judah's calm and patient style and the way he explains Maths as it goes along so he can really understand how it works and why. A brilliant tutor- highly recommended.
