My method of teaching involves breaking down a topic, isolating weaker areas of understanding, and helping build up those weaker areas. When the student has a well-rounded understanding, we begin working through a few practice problems as needed.
My lessons are for anyone who values deeply understanding the mathematics behind what they are doing, regardless of future career path. As a pure math student, my knowledge (and teaching) includes the HOW and WHY of various topics in addition to the topics themselves.
