About Zyla
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics and Mathematics and 6 years of experience teaching students at various academic levels. My interest in Mathematics began through a love of logical puzzles, patterns, and analytical thinking. Over time, this interest grew into a passion for helping others understand and appreciate the subject.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I tailor lessons to suit different learning styles so that every student receives the support they need. Through practical examples, structured exercises, and encouraging guidance, I help learners build confidence while improving their skills. Supporting student growth is one of the most rewarding aspects of teaching.
Outside tutoring, I enjoy exploring data analysis, mathematical modeling, and real-world applications of mathematics. These interests allow me to show students how mathematical thinking extends beyond the classroom. Teaching Math gives me the opportunity to inspire confidence and problem-solving ability. Helping learners achieve meaningful progress continues to be a source of motivation and fulfillment.

My Maths lessons are centered on helping students understand concepts clearly while developing confidence in problem solving. I teach algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, probability, and statistics through structured explanations and step-by-step guidance. Rather than focusing only on obtaining correct answers, I encourage students to understand the reasoning behind mathematical methods. This creates stronger foundations and long-term learning.
Every lesson is customized according to the learner’s current ability and academic goals. Beginners focus on mastering core skills and building numerical confidence. Intermediate students strengthen logical reasoning and improve accuracy through targeted practice. Advanced learners work on challenging applications, examination preparation, and analytical thinking. Regular feedback helps students identify strengths and areas for improvement.
I believe Mathematics becomes more enjoyable when students see it as a logical and useful subject rather than a difficult one. My lessons encourage persistence, curiosity, and active participation. Students gradually become more comfortable tackling unfamiliar problems independently. My goal is to help learners develop strong mathematical skills while building confidence in their abilities.
