About Lucas

I am an undergraduate degree holder in Mathematics from UFFS with emphasis in Mathematical Analysis. Currently, I teach in the state education system, where I work with students in the lower secondary level.

I deliver online classes using various digital resources and personalized materials, created in collaboration with a graphic designer.

About the lesson

One of my favorite authors once said, "This is hard to understand... So let's poke it with a stick."

Let's together break away from the idea that mathematics is rigid, boring and suffocating. Mathematics is beautiful, curious and strange!

I offer personalized math lessons for elementary and middle school students, tailored to their individual needs.

I have a laid-back approach. I seek to bring mathematics into students' daily lives, exploring concepts based on the bizarre history of mathematics and contextualized, "real-life" situations of interest.

We will develop our classes using traditional and technological resources, games and materials of my own creation.

I value building a safe space. Of dialogue and exchange of ideas. LGBTQIA+, ASD and ADHD students are more than welcome.

Some key points:

Experience: With 6 years of teaching experience, I guarantee a practical and effective approach to help you understand the most complex concepts. Whether to reinforce or extend your knowledge.

Personalization: Each student is unique, and my classes are carefully tailored to meet their specific learning needs. Whether you're struggling with algebra, geometry, or statistics, I'm here to help!

Proven Results: Not only do my students improve their grades, they also develop a deeper, more lasting understanding of mathematics.

Flexibility: Classes are scheduled according to your convenience, whether during the week, on weekends or even in the evening. I'm here to make learning math as convenient as possible.
