About Ruby
My fascination with mathematics started at a young age, driven by curiosity about patterns, logic, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics and an M.Sc in Statistics, gaining advanced understanding in both theoretical and applied domains. Over the past 10 years, I have taught students at all levels, guiding them to achieve clarity, confidence, and competence in their mathematical abilities, while nurturing curiosity and independent thinking.
I prioritize a teaching approach that combines conceptual clarity, practical problem-solving, and real-life applications. Lessons are designed to build stepwise understanding, reinforce key concepts through exercises, and encourage active exploration of ideas. I aim to cultivate both intellectual curiosity and analytical resilience, ensuring that students feel supported and confident in their learning journey.
Beyond the classroom, I remain actively engaged with mathematical research, problem-solving competitions, and applied statistical projects, bringing current knowledge and real-world insight into lessons. Watching students develop confidence, master complex topics, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for mathematics is profoundly rewarding.
