About Curtis
I have 9 years of experience teaching mathematics and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Mathematics. My education and practice provide a strong foundation in abstract concepts, problem-solving techniques, and mathematical reasoning, which I integrate into lessons to make the subject engaging and accessible.
I work with students across all levels, from beginners building confidence with numbers to advanced learners preparing for competitions or higher studies. My teaching emphasizes clarity, patience, and structured support, combining visual examples, stepwise explanations, and interactive exercises to strengthen comprehension and skill application.
Teaching mathematics is incredibly rewarding because I witness students grow from confusion to clarity, gradually developing confidence and independent problem-solving skills. I tailor lessons to the student’s level. Beginners focus on foundational operations, simple equations, and basic geometry with patient guidance and hands-on exercises. Intermediate learners work on multi-step problems, functions, graphs, and probability, with structured practice and feedback. Advanced learners explore calculus, complex problem-solving, mathematical modeling, and competition-style questions.
