About Namieraa
I am a university student currently studying Maths with Finance and Economics, with a strong interest in Maths and Chemistry. I am a friendly and patient person who enjoys working with others and helping them overcome challenges.
I want to teach because I know that subjects such as Maths and Chemistry can sometimes seem difficult or overwhelming, especially when a student does not feel confident with the basics. I enjoy breaking down complicated ideas into simple steps and helping students realise that they are capable of understanding and succeeding in these subjects.
Having previously tutored two GCSE students and helped them achieve an A grade, I found teaching extremely rewarding. Seeing their confidence and understanding improve motivated me to continue tutoring and help more students achieve their goals.
For me, tutoring is not just about improving grades. It is about building confidence, developing strong problem-solving skills and helping students enjoy learning.

My teaching approach focuses on making Maths and Chemistry clear, engaging and easy to understand. I break down challenging topics into memorable steps and use worked examples, practice questions and explanations that help students strengthen their understanding. I adapt each lesson to the student’s individual ability, learning pace and areas for improvement.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, although I am happy to adjust the length depending on the student’s needs and level.
Studying Mathematics at university gives me a strong mathematical background and a good understanding of problem-solving and exam preparation. I also have previous personal tutoring experience, having tutored two GCSE students and supported them in achieving an A grade.
My lessons are primarily aimed at GCSE students studying Maths or Chemistry. Whether a student needs help understanding difficult topics, preparing for exams or building their confidence, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
