About Gaia

The key to math and physics is a vivid imagination.
I enjoy working together with students to cultivate and keep that imagination sharp, so that numbers and rules take on meaning, value, and - why not? - even fun.
Everyone has their own path: I like to listen to and connect with my students, and together we find the right path.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Physics, a master's degree in Mathematical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Mathematics. I love these subjects for their incredible ability to amaze and astonish, and because - surprisingly - they really do work.
I teach - and am making it my profession - because I love seeing that same fascination and that same sense of surprise at understanding reflected in others.
And I enjoy adapting my teaching style to each student. I have taught and continue to teach both students and adults, including those with specific learning challenges (dyscalculia, dysgraphia, etc.), whether to fill in knowledge gaps or to strengthen their skills in preparation for entrance exams and interviews.

About the lesson

I offer lessons for students of all ages and levels, tailored to their specific needs.
With a practical, student-centered approach that focuses on active listening and adjusts the level of complexity, I help students ask the right questions and understand how to reason their way to the answers.
In addition to technical knowledge, I aim to strengthen intuition, leading to greater independence even when facing new problems.
I also focus on fostering a positive approach to studying, cultivating a proactive and relaxed attitude toward the school environment.
I have significant experience working with students with learning disabilities and offer personalized support.

I’ve known Gaia for a long time. We began collaborating on a scientific project while we were both at university, and I was impressed by how clearly she explained complex ideas, how well she understood the subject, and how naturally she connected with others.

When I stopped giving private lessons, I recommended Gaia to all my students. I couldn’t have made a better choice: more than ten students I know have taken classes with her, and every one has been extremely happy with the experience. Gaia also adapted thoughtfully to students with specific needs and requirements. I recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for clear, knowledgeable, and attentive support in scientific subjects.

I've known Gaia for several years: she has helped me through my high school maths and physics.
I got accepted into Math University and she kept helping me there with the more advanced subjects

She has great knowledge and experience in both maths and physics, and her patience in teaching is uncomparable.
I tried other teachers before but once I found her I never changed back.
Thank you Gaia!!
