About Sinead

I am a Secondary School Maths teacher with 10 years' experience, including Private tutoring. I have experience teaching maths from Key Stage 3 - Key Stage 5 (Ages 11-18) including Further Maths and A-Level Maths. Also have experience as an examiner.

Decided not to return to full time teaching after maternity leave as I wanted more time with my baby, so I have been doing private tutoring since then.

About the lesson

Bespoke lessons based on what you desire or need support with. Spend some initial time going through what it is you want/need and future lessons are planned around this. I am flexible to changes and adaptations as requested by you

Before I had tutor sessions with Sinead, I struggled with my confidence in maths especially with GCSEs approaching. Sinead was incredibly supportive, patient, and encouraging. She took the time to understand which topics I found tricky and explained them in a clear and easy to follow manner, in addition to helpful tips and advice.

Thanks to Sinead’s help, I began to understand maths and also started to enjoy it. She created a really positive learning environment where I felt comfortable asking questions and never felt judged for getting things wrong. With Sinead’s support, I went from a predicted grade 5 to achieving a grade 7, something I genuinely wouldn’t have believed I could have achieved before.

I am so thankful for Sinead’s help and couldn’t recommend her enough!
