About Michael
I am an experienced Mathematics teacher with a BEd in Mathematics Education (Second Class Upper) and an MEd in Assessment and Testing. I have over 5 years of experience helping students build confidence and improve grades.
I specialise in the UK curriculum:
- KS2 & KS3 Maths (Year 3-9): Building strong foundations, homework support, and SATs prep
- GCSE Maths (Year 10-11): AQA, Edexcel, OCR - Foundation & Higher Tier, exam technique and past papers
- A-Level Maths (Year 12-13): Core Maths and Statistics
My teaching style is patient and simple. I break down complex topics into easy steps, explain clearly, and practise lots of exam-style questions together until you feel confident. I adapt to how you learn best and focus on true understanding, not just memorisation.
I help students who are struggling to catch up, those who want to boost from a 5 to a 7-9 at GCSE, and those preparing for A-Levels.
All lessons are online via Zoom/Google Meet. I offer flexible hours including UK evenings and weekends.
