About Daniel
Hello!
My name is Daniel, and I'm a graduate of Mathematical Sciences from the University of Bath. I studied there for four years and achieved a 2:2 Bachelors of Science with honours, as well as having a first year grade of 77.6%. Before university I achieved 4 A*s in my A-Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry. I also have some experience with Cambridge interviews and STEP/MAT style questions, and successfully passed my Cambridge Mathematics interview at Downing College Cambridge (although I did not end up studying there).
I am enthusiastic about bringing mathematics education to all people of all ages. Many people struggle with maths (even at university!) and feel that it is something that's "not for them", but this is not true! I hope that I can help you gain confidence and meet your goals, whether that is passing exams or developing further ability.
I look forward to working together and taking the struggle out of maths.

I am fairly new to tutoring but have experience teaching A-Level standard content to an adult student with a very limited mathematical background. I covered all topics from the very basics of working with numbers all the way to calculus, trigonometry, vectors and more.
Everyone has different capabilities when it comes to maths and I am happy to tailor lessons to the student's needs. I will work with you to identify strong and weak areas, and find a method of learning that you find effective, but also engaging
I am happy to teach all levels of mathematics from simple arithmetic up to and including first year undergraduate work (I am happy to go over STEP and MAT style entrance exam questions too). Typically I expect lessons to be about 1 hour although I am willing to be flexible if more time would be useful. I am happy to tutor either in-person, online or both.
