About Izzy
I am a first-year university student with experience as a volunteer tutor for high school students. I took eleven AP classes in high school, which allowed me to dive deeper into the content covered in general-level courses across all subjects and gave me important study skills necessary to manage the workload. I look forward to being able to share these skills with all students feeling overwhelmed and looking for ways to help manage their time!

I teach students how to improve their writing skills by encouraging them to write as much as they can about a given topic and then work with them to remove the "fluff" and identify the most important points they want their readers to understand. This strategy can be particularly advantageous for middle and high school students working on lab reports or research essays that must be detailed but concise. I can also help high school students generate creative ideas for their college essays and supplemental prompts.
