About Ameen
I aim to create a supportive and focused learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges. My background in engineering, journalism, and global communications allows me to explain ideas clearly while connecting concepts to real-world applications.
Having worked in fast-paced professional environments and now pursuing an MBA, I value preparation, structure, and clear communication in every session. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades or skills, but also to build confidence in how they think, analyse problems, and express their ideas.

My tutoring approach focuses on clarity, structure, and practical understanding. I break complex ideas into simple steps and encourage students to actively solve problems rather than memorise answers. For maths, I focus on building strong fundamentals and logical thinking through guided practice. For communication and journalism, I emphasise clear thinking, structured writing, and real-world examples from industry.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and is tailored to the student’s goals, whether that is exam preparation, improving problem-solving skills, or developing writing and communication abilities. I have a background in Mechanical Engineering, a postgraduate diploma in journalism, and over nine years of professional experience in media and content strategy.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level maths students, university foundation students, and undergraduate students studying journalism, media, or communication. I also work with professionals who want to improve their writing, communication, or content strategy skills.
