About Shivani

I have been tutoring since 2016. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am neurodivergent and am able to help others who are neurodivergent too. I enjoy teaching, my favourite part is seeing the confidence build up in the students as we make progress.

About the lesson

I like to understand students before getting started. I give a lot of tips and tricks especially during exam season. I teach in English but can understand Afrikaans. Students can expect examples and practice. I tutor high school and first year university.

Shivani was recommended to me by my math teacher in grade 11, given that she was also her student. She is a great math tutor who helped me raise my mark from the low 40s to the mid 70s within the span of a few months. Adding to that, she is very patient with her students, which makes learning a lot easier, especially if you are struggling with a particular topic.
