About Khushboo

Hi! I'm Khushboo, a Mechanical Engineering student at The College of New Jersey with a 3.55 GPA and four semesters on the Dean's List. I have a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and engineering, and I enjoy helping students understand concepts that may initially seem challenging.

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching approach to fit each student's needs. Rather than simply giving answers, I break down problems step by step, encourage questions, and help students develop the confidence to solve similar problems independently. My goal is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking for help.

I offer tutoring for middle school and high school students in mathematics, algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, physics, and general STEM subjects. Whether you're preparing for a test, working through homework, or trying to strengthen your understanding of a topic, I'm committed to helping you reach your goals and build confidence along the way.

About the lesson

Adapt my teaching style to each student's learning pace, strengths, and goals, creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions.
Break down complex math and science concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations using real-world examples and visuals when helpful.
Encourage critical thinking by guiding students through problems with questions and hints rather than simply giving answers.
Begin each lesson by reviewing previous material and identifying areas of difficulty before introducing new concepts.
Work through practice problems together, then gradually allow students to solve similar problems independently to build confidence.
End each session with a summary of key concepts, answer remaining questions, and provide practice strategies for continued improvement.
Patient, approachable, and committed to helping students build confidence in addition to improving their grades.
