I am a very visual person, so I would create diagrams or have pictures or anything that would be visually pleasing so I would be able to explain things clearly and throughly. Unless, the child would learn by me reading to them or they would prefer to read by themselves then I would go by their preferred way, just to keep an open and comfortable learning experience for the child.
