I provide friendly, structured 11+ tuition designed to build confidence and help students succeed in grammar school entrance exams. I teach all 11+ subjects, including Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-verbal Reasoning.
Each lesson is tailored to the individual student. I begin by identifying strengths and areas for improvement, then create a personalised plan to target gaps and develop key skills. Lessons include a clear explanation of topics, guided practice, exam-style questions and regular review to track progress.
Typical lessons last 60 minutes.
A lesson usually includes:
- Warm-up questions to review previous learning.
-Teaching and explanation of new concepts.
- Independent practice
- Feedback, corrections and tips for improvement.
Homework and additional practice materials can be provided where helpful.
I am a medical graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. Having navigated rigorous exams myself, I understand the skills and strategies required to succeed academically.
