About Fanila
Hello, I'm Dr. Fanila 🩺
As a practicing clinician, I bring medical precision, professionalism, and real-world experience to every biology lesson.
I don't just teach from a textbook, I teach from lived clinical experience. Whether we are breaking down the circulatory system or decoding cellular respiration, I make biology fascinating and easy to understand by connecting it to real medical stories.
My Teaching Experience:
Since graduating with my medical degree, I have spent over 5 years teaching and mentoring students in biological sciences across different regions like the middle east. I understand how school-level exams are structured, where students typically stumble, and exactly how to grade an answer for maximum points.

Who This is For
I specialize exclusively in school-level biological sciences, helping students build absolute confidence for their board exams:
*O-Level Biology (Cambridge & Local Syllabus)
*IGCSE & GCSE Biology (Edexcel, AQA, CIE)
*Lower Secondary Science (Building a strong biology foundation early)
My Commitment to Parents & Students
Medical training requires immense discipline, and I bring that same standard to my tutoring. You can always count on:
*Punctuality: Sessions always start on time, fully prepared.
*Clear Communication: Regular updates for parents on student progress and focus areas.
*Patience: I break down dense, "scary" exam topics into plain, simple language at the student's own pace.
Our Goal: I believe clear communication is everything. I apply that exact same clarity to teaching, transforming stressful exam prep into manageable, high-yield steps so your child feels completely confident on exam day.
A Typical Lesson Plan:
- The Check-in: A 5-minute review of previous concepts to ensure your foundation is solid.
- The Deep Dive: We tackle the core topic of the day using clinical examples and illustrated diagrams.
- Active Practice: We work through past paper questions together to master the specific "keywords" examiners look for.
- The Recap: A quick summary of the "Big Ideas" from our session.
What Sets Me Apart:
I am a recent graduate, so I remember the exam stress vividly. My teaching is supportive and low-pressure. I focus on high-yield information that saves you study time while ensuring you actually enjoy the process of learning.
