About Dasha
Just a little bit about myself:
➢ I graduated from A.B Paterson College in 2018 with results that allowed me to begin a Bachelor degree of Biomedical Science at Griffith University.
➢ During my highschool years I completed leadership programs like the Duke of Edinburgh Award where I completed the Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
➢ My top subjects at school were biology and mathematics.
➢ I obtained my Bachelor of Biomedical science in 2022.
➢ From a young age I have been an artistic swimmer, committing myself to a life of being an elite athlete and representing Queensland at Nationals and Australia overseas.
➢ I retired from swimming in 2019 after my final competition to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor.
➢ I maintain my relationship with my artistic swimming club by coaching the younger athletes. This allowed me to discover my love for teaching.
➢ These years of dedication in my schooling and extracurricular activities have taught me many skills of time management and work ethic.
➢ I started my medicine journey in 2022 and have loved every moment of it thus far.

As you all may know, biology can be a very complex and challenging subject and I am here to help breakdown the content so it’s easier to understand and to help support your children’s learning. I also offer healthy study habits and tips to help time manage and to maintain a strong work-life balance. I am honest and hard-working and will go above and beyond to ensure that your children understand content so that they can enjoy biology as much as I do. I also pride myself in motivating young individuals and being supportive to allow for a safe learning environment.
