As a medical student, I have a strong foundation in science, mathematics, and medical sciences, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I offer tutoring in mathematics and science for elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as introductory medical subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology.

My teaching methodology and techniques

My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and tailored to each student's individual learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations, using real-life examples, diagrams, practice questions, and interactive discussions to reinforce learning. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and develop a genuine understanding of the material rather than simply memorizing information.

A typical lesson plan

Each lesson begins with a brief review of previous material and an opportunity to identify any areas the student finds challenging. We then work through new concepts step by step, using clear explanations and relevant examples. The lesson concludes with practice questions, a recap of key concepts, and feedback to help identify areas for further improvement. Lessons can also be tailored to upcoming tests, assignments, or examinations.

What sets me apart as a tutor

As a medical student, I understand the importance of effective study techniques, active recall, and consistent practice. I can share practical strategies that have helped me learn and retain complex information throughout my medical studies. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and progressing at their own pace. I strive to make even challenging subjects engaging, approachable, and enjoyable.

Who my lessons are for

I offer tutoring for elementary, middle, and high school students in mathematics and sciences, including biology, chemistry, and general science. I also welcome university students seeking support with introductory medical and biomedical science subjects, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology. Whether you need help understanding difficult concepts, preparing for examinations, improving your grades, or strengthening your foundations, I can adapt lessons to suit your academic level and individual goals.

I look forward to helping you build confidence, strengthen your understanding, and reach your full academic potential!
