About Jaimie
I have always had a passion for science from a very young age, and I remember studying for my exams like it was yesterday. But I also remember that I needed help from time to time, and the effect a good teacher had on me. I want to share this with my students and hopefully inspire some of the enthusiasm that I have within them too!
As an international student that grew up in a different country, I got the best of both worlds and cultures when I arrived in the UK. I'm able to bring a fresh perspective to the traditional ideals of teaching and learning, and I aim to make the experience as engaging and enjoyable as possible.

I like to teach online, as I like using technology to supplement my teaching. I often encourage my students to take notes throughout the lesson on a shared document that I can review and add to. I like using a range of resources to make my lessons engaging, including videos, quizzes and articles. I often like to refer back to my own personal notes that I made whilst studying those subjects, as it provides first hand experience on exactly how I found it at the time! I find this helps to relate to my students as well.
I study as a medical student at Imperial College London, so I have ongoing experience and genuine interest in science. I studied A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I also studied IGCSE Physics along with the aforementioned subjects.
Typically, a lesson lasts between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the needs of the student. My lessons will typically be for students studying GCSE science subjects or younger.
