About Aleena
Hello! I am a qualified mental health practitioner with five years of clinical experience working within the NHS. I hold an Upper Second-Class (2:1) Master’s degree in Mental Health from King’s College London, alongside a strong academic foundation in psychology. Alongside my clinical work, I offer psychology tutoring for undergraduate and postgraduate students. My approach combines academic rigour with real-world clinical insight, helping students develop a deep understanding of psychological theory, research methods, and applied practice. I am particularly passionate about supporting students to build confidence, achieve academic excellence, and navigate their own paths into mental health and psychology careers.

My teaching methodology is flexible and based on the student. I believe each student has individual capabilities and therefore, they pick up information in their own way. For example, a kinesthetic learner is someone who is better at carrying out physical demonstrations rather than listening to a lecture. I would tailor the lesson plan accordingly so that concepts are demonstrated using models or activities. Hence, I would love to get to know you first and figure out what works for you and then construct a lesson plan.
