About Trevor Beats
I have played in a dozen bands, recorded film and commercial music, and have helped numerous people achieve their personal music goals. I studied under the legendary jazz musician Rick Zunigar while completing my degree at The Musicians Institute. I'm familiar with the process of writing a song and have helped others reach their goals in terms of recording, writing and proper equipment. In my mind, playing music isn't difficult but it does take patience, dedication and a little time. From my time in school to jam sessions (on stage and in the studio) with hundreds of musicians, I've taken the best tools to make it easy for anyone to learn complex concepts. Like anything else, the more you learn about something, the more you start to recognize patterns. Let me show you! Fun Facts: I've worked with several actors to help boost their acting resumes. I often produce and manage artists to help them in their careers - not with their talents, but with their press kits, touring, marketing and social presents.

Perfect! I went from just mindlessly learning songs thinking I was truly learning to play, and struggling to writing on my own. To actually understanding what I’m doing, and getting very close to writing with my first song. In just a few lessons I’ll add!

Trevor is kind, patient, and so talented. His knowledge of music is immense and he is a wonderful teacher. Knowing how to play nothing before Trevor, after a few lessons I was able to understand how to play guitar in a practical way that felt like I was growing and learning quickly.
