About Michael
I fell in love with the Japanese language when my family moved to Japan for a year when I was 9 years old. I am excited to help the next generation of language learners to master the language in a communicative, practical style. I am studying to become a teacher in 2027 and would love to help you improve your Japanese.

I work alongside Japanese Language Learners to practice and gain confidence in the material they are learning at school. Lessons are typically 40 minutes. My qualifications are Japanese Language Proficiency Test level 2, a BA in Japanese and 2.5 years living and working in country. I will be training as a secondary teacher in 2027.
