About Nicola
I am a multidisciplinary Graphic Designer based in London. My practice revolves around branding and digital design, and I also specialise in motion graphics, 3D typography, print design and creating unique narratives through video editing. I hold a Master's in Graphic Media Design from UAL: London College of Communication and a BA in Graphic Design and Visual Communication from the Polytechnic University of Turin.

I teach Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Blender, Figma and InDesign to professionals, students or people who want to start learning the software or improve their skills. ️ My lessons are tailored to your needs, either being more structured or student-led focusing on the topics you're keen to learn. → If you don't know where to start from, I'll begin doing an introduction on the softwares and what can be achieved by using them giving you some examples. We will then discuss about what your objectives are and what you want to achieve. OR → If you have some goals and have a brief idea of what you'd like to learn (you can even bring up some references) we will speak about it and find the best solution for you to achieve your objectives. After that, I will tailor the next class based on your needs, explaining you how to use the software and giving you some exercises so that you can practise under my guidance. At the end of the lesson, we will have a reflect on what we've created and you'll have time to ask more questions/go again through what is still not clear. ---- Some examples of what we could go through are: 🟣 Photoshop: Understanding the workspace, working on collages, photo-comping, adding effects, exporting and more. 🟡 Illustrator: Understanding the workspace, working with shapes, logos, posters, 3D elements, exporting and more. 🟠 After Effects: Understanding the workspace, trimming clips, adding elements and effects, working with compositions, exporting and more. ️ We can also work on Blender, Figma and InDesign. ---- If you're uncertain about your specific needs but would like to be supported throughout your design journey, I'm available to provide mentorship, speaking about how you could develop your projects and portfolio or just speaking about your career's next steps.
