About Jesse
I have taught middle and high school math for more than eight years, both in New York and here in Jacksonville, FL. I have helped hundreds of students understand math more easily than they had before with a marked increase in grades. I have also prepared many students for the SAT, ACT, and the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test (ASVAB).

My teaching method is Socratic, using leading questions to nudge the student toward coming up with the correct answer on his/her own. I also look for other methods, depending on the student, when lecture and questioning aren't appearing to help.
