About Kyle
Ever since I was a child, I was fascinated with bagpipes. In my home community there was a piper I heard playing frequently. He helped me begin my learning experience. I moved on to the cadet program. I would learn at my home unit from September until June. I spent my summers in intensive training for various disciplines (on a regular force military base). Music, however, was my core focus.
I am experienced in both theory and technique.

My teaching methodology is to create a custom fit plan for each and every person. We all learn differently. Testing learning types and competency levels are just a few examples of tools I use to ensure each student can learn to the best of their abilities and also be tackling issues that are at an appropriate skill level.
Also, when it comes to music, I dont believe in practicing until you get it right. I practice until I dont get it wrong anymore! Independant practice and testing are big parts of my teaching style.
I also really believe that fun is an integral part of learning.
