About Alice
I have just finished my 4th and final year studying languages at Cambridge University where I obtained a first class degree. Fluent in Spanish, I’m an avid Hispanophile who loves to travel and experience new cultures and cuisines first hand.

I have 4 years of tutoring experience for a range of age groups, including 11+, GCSE and A-level, as well as completing a 6 month teaching placement last year where I was working with children aged 4-16 teaching English as a second language in Argentina.
I have also had great success teaching adults with English as a second language and young children with special educational needs.
All my sessions are fully personalised to the individual to suit each student and their needs, whether this is exam prep and technique, working through specific questions or teaching. Therefore, I don’t have a set format for my lessons as my teaching method and style totally varies from student to student. Learning should be easy and fun, not difficult and stressful, so it's crucial we find what works for you. We’ll chat about this and find the best approach to proceed together.
I offer a range of classes for a duration of: 40mins, 1hr and 1.5hrs. It's up to you on the length!
For our lessons, there won’t be a worksheet in sight; every hour will be informal, fun and interactive. I’m keen on a more hands-on, multimedia approach. Taking inspiration from my own English teacher at school, I will be proactive in providing you with a stash of resources so you feel supported at all times, especially outside of our lesson time together.
