About Moonnisa
Hello! I'm Moonnisa Periasamy, a Carnatic vocalist and vocal coach from Chennai. I am a graduate of A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory
Music has been an important part of my life for many years, and I am passionate about sharing that knowledge with aspiring singers. As a track singer and recording artist, I understand both the artistic and technical aspects of singing, from vocal expression to studio performance.
My goal is to help students build confidence in their voice, improve their technique, and develop their own unique musical identity. I believe that every voice is different, and I focus on creating a supportive learning environment where students can grow at their own pace.
Whether you want to learn Carnatic music, improve your singing skills, perform film songs, prepare for recordings, or simply enjoy music as a hobby, I would be happy to guide you on your musical journey.

My approach to teaching is personalized, practical, and focused on building a strong vocal foundation. I begin by assessing each student's voice, pitch accuracy, and musical goals, then design lessons that suit their individual learning pace and interests.
Classes include voice culture, breathing techniques, pitch training, song interpretation. Students can learn Carnatic music fundamentals and film songs while developing proper vocal technique and confidence.
I am a graduate of A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory with training in vocal performance and contemporary music. In addition to my formal training, I have experience as a track singer and recording artist, which allows me to bring real-world studio insights into my lessons.
Whether you are a beginner exploring music for the first time or a singer looking to improve your technique and performance skills, my goal is to help you develop your voice in a structured, encouraging, and enjoyable learning environment.
