About Rachel

I am passionate about my home city and its beautiful language, Cantonese. I am committed to spreading the rich culture and linguistic heritage of Cantonese to others, especially to those in the UK, a country I also deeply love. Teaching also allows me to help people bridge cultural gaps, making their transition smoother and more fulfilling.

About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring is student-centred and tailored to individual needs. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their thoughts. By assessing each student's strengths and areas for improvement, I develop personalised lesson plans that foster understanding and confidence. My goal is to inspire a love for learning and to help each student achieve their academic potential.

Ray

Rachel has a passion for teaching. She is kind, and patient to students and has the skills to effectively communicate with young people. Ability wise, Rachel is undoubtedly capable of tutoring students of different grades. With some training background in counselling, she would try her best to instil in students the initiative to learn and help them develop their potential. To parents who wish their children to get help academically, Rachel is certainly a good tutor choice.
