About James
I have lived in China for a year already, whilst in China, I taught English to Chinese students and learned Chinese through a very practical setting and I am now applying it to an academic setting. As a student so far I have achieved the top marks in my class for Chinese.

My teaching methodology will be based on how my teacher has taught me academic Chinese. I want to take the way she taught and apply that to lessons where I can help people wanting to have a basic start to the language as I know that it can be a daunting task to pick up what looks like an alien language to most western eyes.

I would like to point out that i cannot drive therefore students would have to come to me, I am happy to teach students in the Brymor Jones Library located on the Hull campus which is a two-minute walk from my residence.
