About Beatrice
I am a Msc student in mathematical sciences studying at the University of York. I graduated from the same university last year with a degree in maths and philosophy. I have over 3 years of experience when it comes to giving people math lessons and I aim to make teaching my profession in the future. My learning approach is very visual and intuitive at first and only after the student has understood the main ideas behind a concept, do I delve in to the deep, heavy and rigorous theory behind the mathematical concept I am trying to explain to them.

I give math lessons of any level of difficulty, from highschool and middle school level up to the first year of university . My approach is very hands on and intuitive but is careful to not compromise the rigour behind the concepts I explain. I like using colours as an aid to making diagrams and definitions easier to understand remember for the student .
