About Matt

I have been enamoured, fascinated and (healthily) obsessed with percussion for over 10 years. In that time, I have mainly specialised in Brazilian music (Samba from Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, Maracatu from Recife and more), playing, directing and teaching in groups of all sorts of styles, sizes and experience levels across the UK.

About the lesson

There is nothing more exciting to me than seeing the spark of passion in others, and no larger dream than helping to inspire that spark. I work with people of all ages and experience levels, and I understand that patience is key to unlocking true enjoyment and potential.
