About Vanda
I am an engineer/architect who speaks fluent English and Hungarian moreover basic Japanese and Norwegian. I studied several years in various universities in 3 different countries, therefore essay writings are truly my forté. I have been living in Scotland for 3 years and lived in Denmark and Hungary before, met people from different cultures and backgrounds, which makes understanding accents rather easy for me.

I aim to teach beginners, using my signature teaching method: weird hand-movements and funky dance moves until you understand the language perfectly! It works every time, and you also learn some new skills for Pictionary. I focus on teaching how to speak with confidence (even if you lack the skills at the beginning). When I moved abroad, I did not speak a word for a month, even though I had a CAE language exam in my pocket! Taking that first, rather scary step is the key to learning super fast. Also, I like to introduce interesting articles, so you'll gain reading skills without you even noticing. Chatting about your hobbies will widen your vocalbulary while keeping you motivated.

I have known Vanda for almost 10 years. I have been an English teacher myself for decades.
