About Zachary
I am currently a student at Baylor University, majoring in Music Composition. I'm from Boerne/Fair Oaks Ranch, TX. I was a trombonist in the YOSA (Youth Orchestras of San Antonio) Philharmonic, and am now a member of the Baylor Wind Ensemble.

I will teach music theory beginning with the most basic concepts, such as reading music, keys, and intervals. From there, I will work my way up to more complex subjects such as chords, figured bass, and types of non-chord tones. After that, basic forms, mode mixture, etc. If the student is advanced enough, I am happy to also teach 20th Century Serialism and address the Avant Garde. The students will likely compose short assignments to assist their learning of Music Theory.
