About Perry
I am a self-taught pianist who started my music journey in Band in Primary School. I later became the Music Director at my church and soon began teaching Piano and Organ. Soon after graduation from High School I moved to Texas and attended Wiley College on a Music scholarship where I also played for the Wiley College Choir. Today I have trained over 50 students privately and have taught them to successfully read and play Classical Piano or have taught them the secrets to learning Piano By-Ear. Many of my students have gone to be Music Directors at their church or have started local bands, or have continued their music education in college.

When it comes to learning, everyone is different. I like to start with an assessment of a person's learning style. Some people are more independent and prefer to study on their own while I oversee them and provide them with information when needed. Some are more hands on and prefer a teacher who both explains and demonstrates exactly how to perform certain actions.
Everyone isn't fond of scales. Some will prefer etudes and others may desire to learn pieces that they've heard in movies or in videogames or on YouTube. Whatever the case, I work with my students to create effective, fun, and exciting action plans to help them reach their goals and to push them beyond their assumed limits.

Perry is an excellent piano teacher. He goes above and beyond to ensure students walk away feeling confident in their skills he has taught.
