About Bonnie
About Me
I am a passionate and experienced flute teacher dedicated to helping students develop their skills and love for music. Currently completing a Bachelor of Music (Flute Performance) at Queensland Conservatorium, I bring both professional training and a warm, engaging approach to my teaching.
I teach at multiple schools as well as privately, working with 40 students of all levels, from beginners to advanced players. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on technique, musicality, and confidence-building. Whether you’re preparing for AMEB exams, school performances, or playing for personal enjoyment, I am committed to helping you reach your full potential in a supportive and inspiring environment.

I create quality individual lessons which are fun and cater specifically to meet each students individual needs. I also focus on skills in performance and ensemble work, assisting with school band programs. I feel its important to encourage playing for enjoyment and creativity. I have experience tutoring students through AMEB grades as well as creating fun and challenging programs that don’t follow specific examination programs.
