About Alex
I am a final year Music student at King's College London. I am primarily a pianist and trombonist, though have taken on many roles in conducting during my time at university, having conducted a range of ensembles, from orchestras to choirs to brass bands. I am passionate about sharing my love of music with my students and would say that my lessons are very enjoyable - in my opinion, learning is much easier when you're having fun!

I have been teaching and tutoring several different subjects and disciplines for over a year now. I have been studying the piano for over 15 years. My teaching techniques ensure that my students grow in confidence and are aware of their own progress. This can be done through the patient repetition of exercises, in order to improve consistency. Normal lesson length would vary from 30 minutes - 1 hour, depending on age/ability.
