About Tom
I am a Scottish musician with a passion for the guitar. I have always been involved with different musical projects. I am a person who loves a chat, anything related with music, films, video games or random things. Four years ago, I decided to pursue my passions so I decided to study music. Recently I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Music, which I am very proud of. During my time at university I developed my musical knowledge and skills as a guitar player. Alongside my studies I have always dedicated my free time to teaching. I find that teaching what I love fills me with a tremendous sense of satisfaction. I can be fun, empathetic, patient and I am always open to constructive feedback.

One to one guitar lessons from an experienced tutor of 7 years. Lessons are catered to all ages and levels of ability, lasting between 30 minutes to an hour. Guitar playing is as much about fun as it is learning an instrument. I strive to create a positive and friendly environment where pupils can learn and develop confidence and an understanding of the guitar, while still making the lessons as fun as possible. I tend to work on a weekly basis with my pupils, working on a piece of music or a new scale one week, assign what we have covered in the lesson (as well as extra work) as homework that can then be looked over the following week.
